Aged 12-14 and keen to kickstart or continue your football journey? Squad Girls’ Football sessions are just what you need! A fun, non-competitive way to play football locally with friends, old and new. Whether you’re completely new to the sport, are looking to transition from Weetabix Wildcats, or simply want to give it a go, Squad Girls’ Football is designed to help develop skills and build confidence, whilst encouraging girls to play their way.

Squad Girls’ Football sessions are available throughout England, but with many located in the host cities of the Women’s EURO. With more to be added soon, please be sure to check back regularly if you’re struggling to find a session local to you.

Grow Together

Girls’ Football session is centred around a specific theme, including everything from building team identity, to mastering technical skills. To keep sessions interesting and on-theme, sessions are broken down into warm up, first half, half time, second half and cool down and can include a mix of both walking and traditional.

Develop Skills

Squad Girls’Football sessions are designed to help players improve their ability across many aspects of the game, from dribbling tackling and passing and to communication, confidence and leadership.

Fun, safe and inclusive

Any girl aged 12-14 is welcome to join their local Squad Girls’ Football session and enjoy football in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Squad Girls’ Football is a great way for 12–14-year-old girls to stay healthy, be active, make friends and build confidence.

Casual

A totally casual and flexible football option, you can join as few or as many Squad Girls’ Football sessions as you like – perfect for those wanting to just give football a go.
